so ive done this before, im sure, but i wanna talk about Buckys scars. because i always see art with scarring all around the arm/metal line, and swear thats not what they are
five lines. yall do me a favor, and mimic clawing at your skin in that spot.
-the thumb would make the shortest line, and curve inward. -the pointer finger would have the most pressure on it from that angle, and the deeper the cut, the more likley it would get caught a bit and skip. see the break in that line? -middle finger would have the longest contact time -ringer finger a shot straight line, and the pinkey just a small gouge.
if he looked down and saw the arm, panicked, and tried to claw at it, thats exactly where he’d be looking and where he’d claw at it.
now (and if you could ignore the part where im severely obsessive and should probably get some kinda hobby), i painted my shoulder. just slapped some tempera paint on and tried to mimic what i think he did, and the results were actually pretty close.
(id have gotten a picture, but my roommate came home with guests and it was either walking back to my room to get my phone, or keep continuing my charade of making her think im mentally stable)
if anyone goes to a convention panel with him (or the Russos) i will pay you to ask about this
It all starts innocent enough, with a bet and the hope for a free dessert. But when Steve proposes to Bucky, his best friend, to get said dessert, things get out of hand and they find themselves in a situation neither of them had expected.
They’ve been roommates for over five years and through multiple moves when it happens. Steve’s jerk of a friend Tony calls them magnets and at least once he and Bucky have ended up spinning it into a scientific debate that makes Steve roll his eyes and walk away. It’s not strange for two men to live together, move together, share the same bed (yeah that became permanent after move #2 because Steve tends to have vivid nightmares), occasionally borrow one anothers clothes and avoid the dating scene.
Right?
He asks Sam one day and gets a dry sarcastic “Yeah that’s how I act with my buddies. We always share a full sized bed and show up for game night wearing each others shirts.” He’s wrong because if they were more than that, Bucky would know.
Bucky makes a tiny little sound in the back of his throat, only to start coughing. Of course he doesn’t look hot. He’s sick and he’s dying and Steve obviously isn’t attracted to him.
For those who keep asking what part this is from, it’s from the beginning, right after he’s been unfrozen. The original scene was so dark you couldn’t even see his face, so I lightened it.
Oh, and this lovely example where the art thief magnanimously allows someone else to repost their post to weibo, and hey, they’re gonna mark the stolen insta source, so that’s cool, right @xxxxxx6x?
I asked this reposter to take down two of my works they’d reposted. They immediately blocked me, deleted my comments requesting the removal of my images, and reposted them again.
