Hello, and welcome to HYBB’s first ever ficlet challenge!

We are inviting you to participate, simply by submitting a new fanfic of 1k – 5k words.

Content must include either Bottom Bucky themes, or Implied. Non-graphic content is also welcome.

Any prompt for your fic is fine. (We just ask that prompts don’t include any of ao3’s archive warnings, which means no MCD, extreme violence/torture, or Non Con.)

Here are some prompts to get you started:

Rom-coms

We Woke Up Married!

PWP (plot what plot)

Friends/Enemies to Lovers (or any combo you desire!)

How to participate:

Step 1) Email your proposed trope/fic idea to hellyeahbottombucky at gmail dot com

Step 2) Write your fic!  Between 1k – 5k words.

Step 3) This isn’t a requirement, but try to get your fic beta read. If you don’t have a beta there’s a blog called @capbetafinders  or alternatively, email HYBB to see if we can help.

Step 4) Email your draft on or before Sunday 10th June for review.

Step 5) Once you’ve confirmed with HYBB, after 10th June you can post your fic to ao3 and we’ll add you to the Ficlet Challenge ao3 collection.

Simple as that!

This is not a bang. We won’t be pairing writers with artists. However if you would like a moodboard/gifset/header to go with your ficlet, then contact HYBB and we will provide one for you. Your own or other’s art is also welcome!
